15th SERBIAN CONGRESS OF FRUIT AND GRAPEVINE PRODUCERS with international participation



Dear Colleagues,

The Fruit Research Institute, Čačak and the Scientific Pomological Society of Serbia organize 15th Serbian Congress of Fruit and Grapevine Producers with international participation, to be held in Kragujevac from 21st to 23rd September 2016.

The work of the Congress will follow oral and poster presentations within the following topics:

  • Genetics and breeding of fruits and grapevine
  • Cultivars and rootstocks of fruits and grapevine
  • Physiology and ecology of fruits and grapevine
  • Nursery production and technology of fruits and grapevine growing (conventional, integrated and organic concept)
  • Protection of fruits and grapevine
  • Harvesting, storing and processing technology of fruits and grapevine
  • Economics of fruits and grapevine production and processing

    Work of Congress

    Deadline for submission of abstracts is 22nd April 2016. Abstracts should conatin: title of paper, full name and surname of all the authors, name and address of the institution, e-mail address of the first author, textual content of the abstract and key words. The font is Times New Roman, font size 12, single spacing. The contents of abstract in English, including title and author's name should not exceed 1500 characters with spaces. At the end of the abstract there should be an indication of the topic of the paper and presentation mode (oral or poster).

    The working language is Serbian, and a translation will be provided of the English papers. Full versions of papers can be printed in the "Journal of Pomology".

    Registration fee

    Full registration fee is 65 Euros and covering attendance at the Congress, Programme and Book of Abstracts, welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, two lunches during the Congress, gala dinner and excursion with lunch. Daily registration fee is 25 Euros and covering attendance at the Congress, Programme and Book of Abstracts, coffee break and lunch.

    Hotel "Kragujevac" in Kragujevac.
    Double room with breakfast is 21 Euros. Single room with breakfast is 26 Euros. Additional fees for lunch and dinner is 2.50 Euros per meal.
